Day 19
Hey there, a lot of things has happen around me. People sharing, retelling and opening so a truth of themselves and strangely enough it all have the same denominator, a singularity with the same reasons. Lying to ourselves, the strange thing but also fascinating about the human mind is that when we are wounded, we tend to want to get it over with it and never look back, and just well get rid of the memory, just get rid of it. We know we need help, we know we are drowning deep down, but we don't want any help, so we hide it and ignore that bad with all good things. The scary thing is actually, we are slowly killing ourselves by lying to ourselves. I like to thing that we all are like cups, and the Gospel of God is like the drink that is poured. If there is still something in that glass, something dirty, the cup will never reach its full capacity because there is something holding it back, how much we want to poor the drink there is still a part that is not the drink. But when we have an empty cup, the drink will reach it's full point. Full and fresh. Same goes with us, hiding it, ignoring it, it's just like closing the door, not letting the Gospel fully sink in to deepest part of our soul. But how? How we get rid of it ? Through God, we confess, we admit, we stop lying, we cry, we scream, be transparent. See our past, see the reasons behind reasons, the history behind history till we reach a point where that is my wound, that is it. Then we let go, to accept, forgive and be free.
